Alaska Fairbanks Pioneer Homes resident, LeNora Conkle, (100 years old) was presented with an honorarium from the Alaska state legislature. Her contributions to the growth of the state and her volunteer work were cited in the presentation by state Senator John Coghill. Pictured with Lenora, are Senator Coghill and her granddaughter Corri, and her son Colin.

The Fairbanks Pioneer Homes had a full week of Golden Days activities including the Pioneer’s Tea and Dinner July 23rd to 26th, 2009.
