Proposed Home and Community-Based Waiver Service Regulations Available for Public Comment Until January 23, 2012.
The Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Senior and Disabilities Services, proposes to adopt comprehensive regulation changes in Title 7, Chapters 130, of the Alaska Administrative Code, with additional changes in 145 and 160. These changes will realign Medicaid home and community-based waiver recipient categories; rework provider certification and enrollment requirements; expand recipient safeguards; rework screening, assessment, level of care, and plan of care requirements; and redesign processes for environmental modification services.
