In 2003 Lt. Governor Loren Leman appointed 21 citizens from around Alaska to the Faith Based and Community Initiatives (FBCI) Task Force. The Task Force was asked to identify how Alaska could maximize its resources of compassion to meet the challenges faced by those in need.
