Early Intervention Committee (EIC)
The Early Intervention Committee (EIC) is a standing committee of the Governor's Council. It meets monthly by teleconference. Members include parents of infants or toddlers with disabilities, service providers, and others who are involved in the agencies that provide services to infants, toddlers & families.
What does the EIC do?
The committee works on priority issues and activities related to the effective operations of Alaska's family-centered statewide Early Intervention/Infant Learning Program. Committee members may be involved in workgroups that are conducting:
- research
- planning
- monitoring
- advocacy
Family participation on all committees of the Council are welcome and encouraged. It's a great way to participate in the continuing development of the Early Intervention/Infant Learning Program.
