Rural Adhoc Committee Priorities 2009-10

  • Assist communities in developing local disability service needs assessment.
  • Maximize technology in rural areas to improve access to key services for individuals with disabilities.
  • Support the development of sustainable opportunities for adults with disabilities to allow them to remain in the community of their choice.
  • Research financial and programmatic resources available to rural communities to meet their identified needs.
